The rules in thirty seconds

Press and drag to draw a rectangle. Tangerines whose center falls inside get selected.
Release when the selected numbers total exactly ten. Nine or eleven does nothing.
Cleared tangerines leave holes, and holes are ignored by later selections. The board gets easier as it empties.
The clock stops at 120 seconds and your score is final.

About Tangerine 10

Tangerine 10 is a free browser puzzle built on one rule: drag a box around tangerines whose numbers add up to exactly ten, and they pop. You get 120 seconds. No sign-up, no download, no app store.

Every game deals a fresh grid of tangerines numbered 1 to 9 — 170 of them on a computer or tablet, 168 on a phone — so you never replay the same board. The My History panel shows your last five games for as long as this page stays open. If a score makes the top three, a name box appears, and the score goes on the leaderboard when you press Save & Play Again.

Your score is the number of tangerines you clear, multiplied by a combo bonus that grows while you keep clearing within two seconds of the last clear. The full multiplier table is on the rules page, and the habits that keep a combo alive are in the strategy guide.
